7 Reasons to Book a Wedding Celebrant

Updated: Oct 14, 2023

When it comes to your wedding day, you may want to consider changing your ceremony up and book a Wedding Celebrant.

So much budget goes into the styling and decoration of a wedding but most couples don't invest in their ceremony the same way. What if I told you that booking a Wedding Celebrant would be the best investment of your wedding day?

Of course, I'm a huge support of this and I'm going to tell you why in 7 bullet points. Read on for my guide on why you should book a Wedding Celebrant, - specifically yours truly!

I'm exclusively yours

When it comes to your wedding day, I only book one ceremony per day so there's no need to rush or panic if you need to change any of your plans on the day. Last minute move of your wedding timings? Not a problem with me!

I will guide you

I'm here to guide you through the ceremony process. This includes ceremony design, layout, content and careful consideration.

We'll go through the logistics of the ceremony, positioning and how you'd like to run things on the day. This also includes speaking with your venue and/or coordinator to ensure that everything runs smoothly on the day from PA systems to chair layouts.

I promise to move out of the way

For your vows, ring exchange and kiss! Also for anything else you or your photographer ask of me. There's nothing worse than seeing your wedding photos with someone peeping in the background when you're having your first kiss.

I will provide ritual resources

If you wish to include a ceremony ritual, or a few, along with a keepsake certificate and vow books. This could include candles, sand, ribbons for handfasting.

I also provide the complementary hire of my copper ceremony arch for the duration of your ceremony for you to dress.

I am here to support you as your Wedding Celebrant

I'll respect your wishes, offer unlimited contact and recommend some amazing supplier friends (including other Celebrants if i'm not available).

I'll stick to my SLA

I'll issue a timeline and keep in contact on when you can expect your e-ceremony guide, couple's questionnaire and first draft of your ceremony script.

After your ceremony

I'd love to stay in touch! For every ceremony complete, I plant a tree through One Tree Planted. This is to offset emissions and be as carbon neutral as I possibly can be.

I'm not a registrar

I'm an Independent Celebrant and proud! I'm insured and certified through the Association of Independent Celebrants and the Academy of Modern Celebrancy.

What I offer is a completely different service. My time and dedication to you as a couple is beyond what any registry service can offer.
